The terms are: I provide the domain names (that I already own) and my ongoing advice and planning from my thorough expertise with the trade, which I was once part of for 19 years (I left it back in 2013). The investor will fund the building of the website, its hosting, marketing, and the operation of the business. The division of earnings from profit and equity in the business and domain names can be mutually negotiated.

In this day and age, purchasing the licenses for these domain names is much more valuable than when they were first purchased and registered back in the early 2000s due to the trades they are relevant with being better regulated now, as there are much fewer unofficial cash deals happening in-store nowadays. Hence, the online market for these domain names is now much larger, more profitable, and promising to generate higher and more consistent revenue.

These domain names are at the top of their industry, as they are entirely generic and trendy. It isn't just about the better SEO benefits and ease of customers remembering them when using such domain names but more about the higher credibility that the online website and business will have when using these names. Credibility is what makes customers trust the company and part with their money, making larger purchases online. The alternative to a popular and valuable generic name is a good unknown domain name to start with. Investing millions of dollars into advertising and marketing the unknown domain name brand to make it well known and earn credibility. For example, Cars.com.au is organically a better domain name than CarSales.com.au - only if Carsales.com.au wasn't well marketed, but as most would know, CarSales.com.au has spent a lot of money (millions of dollars) developing and promoting their website and brand; as such, it became better and more popular name and website for shopping for a vehicle than Cars.com.au. Another example is Flowers.com.au, which is a better name than Interflora for promoting and selling flowers online, but only if there was no strong advertising by Interflora. However, since Interflora has spent millions of dollars on promoting its brand over a long time, its name is more credible and more substantial for promoting and selling flowers. Again, the choice is a great generic domain name with a low advertising budget or just a suitable non-generic domain name with a very high (millions of dollars) advertising budget to promote it. Doing both, such as a fully generic domain name and strong marketing, is perfection in branding and marketing - such as with Hotels.com.

What makes a diamond and engagement ring relevant domain name so attractive is that the costs of investment in developing the online operation are recouped fast, as deals are usually within the several hundred to several thousand dollars each time and sometimes even in the tens of thousands of dollars. No stock on hand or stock investment is required, according to my plan, and this is also how most online diamond and engagement ring sellers operate. This keeps expenses and risks low, as no stock means no high-level robbery insurance is required, and there are no high costs associated with having additional security at the operation facility, whether a commercial office or a home office.
